Orchard area will also stopped being groomed.
Although they do claim that if more snow falls, they will reassess and maybe reopen terrain.

Just had an amazing weekend at The Denman in Thredbo for our Anniversary.

they always stop grooming the orchard with lack of snow. It suffers pretty badly in the freeze thaw cycles due to the aspect. The groomers might do more damage than it’s worth, and the terrain underneath might not support the groomer. Anyways… whatever the reasons, it always happens this way. Might be just a $ thing too…. Certainly not surprising that Blue Ribbon is shut. If you saw it in summer, it’s pretty much a scree slope, with pillow sizes boulders over the whole site, with a bit more grass in the upper section. It would be nice if it stayed open longer, because it’s a heaps of fun, but alas, those pygmy possums have their tunnel of love there.

I’m impressed that grooming is allowed at all then!
Not to worry. There still seems to be plenty of stuff open and what we don’t know we are missing wont hurt us!
