More board advice..

Avatar

The husband has been sulking ever since I got my new board in August so we have started looking at a new board for him. He’s narrowed it down to 2 that he really likes but is open to any suggestions people may have (tried getting him to sign up to the forum to ask himself but he is too lazy!)
He currently has a Ride the Kink, 158W. He is about 78kg and has size 10 boots, intermediate level rider. He doesn’t want another wide board, only reason he got this one was because it was his first board and he didn’t know much about choosing boards and the guy at the shop told him he needed wide.
He is wanting something primarily for park but that will also be a good all mountain board, preferably something with a bit of flex (his current board is super stiff). He is more into rails and boxes than hitting big kickers.
Currently he has his eye on the Yes - the Greats and the Libtech - Box Scratcher. Probably about a 154.

Would love to get some feedback or even if anyone has any other boards to throw in to the mix.

Thanks in advance!!

I only have great things to say about the YES Greats. It’s one of the best versatile boards on the market. Whether you ride pow, park, mountain, groomers, switch, carve or spray skiers…  the Greats just kills it. I am a huge fan of this board and I am confident your husband would love it too!

Worth noting: it has a lifetime warranty. YES is the only snowboard brand offering a lifetime warranty on their boards. Speaks volumes about the company. Rider driven and they back their product. thumbsup
