Just passing on info from friends, Niseko is full of people ATM - staff and others - however no lifts will be turning for a little while.

It will come!

Ps. I get in around midnight on the 27th!

I’ll have had a slide (maybe, if I’m THAT keen to go out for Nighta) and be in the bar at Bills!

Ok…so I’m old….I might actually be snoring, getting ready for a big day on the hill on the 28th wink

Billy, you must be frothing!!  wish I was heading sooner!

But, just a thought.
Im riding a 155, I really dont have an option to get a bigger board.  Think I be alright for with all this powpow?
Can always go back a step with my stance.. but reeeally not that keen to.  It is the new Yes Basic with more volume in the nose.. So hoping that that’ll help?!!

How much do ya weigh in at again, Matty?????

Probably 75ish.. im 6ftish haha.

Comfortable rider, not worried about how deep it’ll be or whatever, and will definitely have to learn how to ride pow properly!
But doing back country just got me wondering if i’ll actually struggle to keep afloat out there!

I rode a 154 Lobster Jibbaord in powder in Canada last season (Manning Park and Revvie) and I’m 6ft / 85kg and could do it. By all means, it’s easier on a pow board but you can do it if you put the effort it.

That being said, there could be options if you want. I got an older Ride 161 board you can have if you want to come to Lane Cove (North Sydney) but I feel like your Yes Basic might be better anyway hahaha.

I wish, unfortunately my money supplies aren’t the greatest at the moment so I’m stuck in Aus. Totally should post these things earlier (next year japan anyone?) I could be in need of a travel buddy (or 5)

Bugger, sorry to hear it TJ.

Maybe in a year or two, although I don’t think I’ll be returning for a couple of years…
