Beards at the snow on really cold days can definitely make your experience worse. Same as long hair when it freezes over you get extra cold extra quick.
Though if I wore one of those, it would be for laughs, probably not as snowboarding equipment since I have air hole facemasks.

Not true. It’s warmer for sure. Yeh snow and ice gets stuck to it but it keeps it off ur skin and keeps the warm air on ur skin.
Eldest son rocks a very full beard. He looks ridiculous after a date with the white room. It’s caked on and takes forever to defrost. He claims it’s warm though.
The beardo is a novelty. It’ll get a laugh, he might wear it out when riding with mates for fun. Maybe wear it to Après. But it’s not a performance piece of kit.

Second that, I’ve had a beard along with the long hair - sometimes I can’t really cool down until I take off the brain bucket, on the hill and chair I’m just toasty
