Board attachment for a road bike?

Avatar

You are all going to think I am mad - But we all knew this and the fact we ride boards of any sort probably already defines the fact…

I’ve seen so many people in LA do it - I want to put a rack on my Ninja road bike to be able to carry either my surf/snow or skateboard.

Has anyone experience?

i used to ride my pushbike with my surfboard attached when i was a teen and carless. One time after exceptionally awesome offshore day the ride home turned to disaster when my tired from paddling all day arms werent quick enough to compensate the wind blowing against the board which was now acting like a wing and i was quickly deposited into the ditch on the side of the road. Gravel rash and pretty hefty ding were the results. Not so rad at all.
Hopefully that shit doesnt happen on a road bike!!!

There’s some pretty cool set ups for motorbikes gettin around, but I guess ya just have to keep cornerin in mind while ya on a sports bike!!!!!

Plus there’s no way I’d be ridin it up the mountain in winter, so I wouldn’t even consider the fit of ya snowboard!!!!!

Riding a bike at 100 km/h with essentially a wing/sail on the side…no fucking thank you!
