I’ve been looking for a way to change tracks without having to take off my gloves and without having to take my phone out of my pocket every time. I think I’ve found a solution: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/satechi/goremote-bluetooth-40-le-waterproof-remote-control

Welcome to Boardworld, portos.
I really like the idea. I think anyone who snowboards can understand the frustration of using a smartphone while snowboarding, especially in poor weather.
A few honest questions…
Why did the prototypes get bigger as you went forward? Smaller would definitely work better for snowboarding.
I read it will have a two year battery life. How do you change the battery? Is this possible?
My main concern would be the size. It’s bigger than I would be willing to wear on my wrist while snowboarding. The other concern is how secure it would be on the wrist strap for a high impact sport like snowboarding. It looks like it just clips on, making it easy to disconnect after a fall or high impact.
Best of luck with the project. I hope you get it off the ground and continue to develop the idea and product.
