A Day At Kirkwood

Nothing tech, just a few shots from a day at Kirkwood. We started out with 3” of snow in the morning to the skies opening up on a weekday with no one around. perfect!

The girlfriend had been booked to come over for a few months to finish off the trip over here with me and arrived with a hero3+ Black in hand as a gift to me. Ripper! I had left the Hero2 that I had owned at home as I’m running on an SSD with fairly limited space. Backed up some of the photo catalog from the trip and thought i’d rip in to some editing. Hadn’t done it for quite some time.

The hike at Thimble Peak was a treat, I was the first one to hike it for the day (i ride past a ski patroller that was #2) Looking back on earned turns in fresh snow makes it all worthwhile.

Enjoy!

This makes me so envious.

When i went a spent $300 on a network pass for there, and spent 1.5 days riding the very limited, icey crud then had to relocate to Heavenly/Northstar for the rest of the trip.
