After withdrawing from slopestyle to focus on halfpipe, Shaun White could only manage fourth place in the halfpipe final. Congratulations to Iouri Podladtchikov who wins gold, and the Japanese duo of Ayumu Hirano and Taku Hiraoaka who picked up silver and bronze. The condition of the halfpipe clearly wasn’t ideal, with several riders wiping out on the flat, including medal favourite Danny Davis.
