I’m a very weak swimmer but I can paddle like a demon. Very true what they say about swimming.
No mention of yoga - but they do mention stretching.

The one exercise I do everyday and before every surf;
Arms stretched out sidewise and wave fists in small circles (10-20cm) - 50 clockwise, 50 anti-clockwise. Gets the blood pumping in shoulders and neck.
Believe it or not, the best exercise for surfing….. is surfing!!!!!
*Thats why I’m kinda like a beached whale of late!!!!!
