And today is perfect weather and we are sitting in the airport waiting to come home!! Forecast for yesterday was clear and it ended up bring windy and snowy so hopefully they’ve got it wrong again and you get some good weather for your trip!
Farrrkkkkkk so much rain and wind forecasted =(
Don’t stress!!!!!
Regardless of weather in Queenstown, if ya don’t have an unreal experience there, then ya doin it wrong!!!!!
You’ll have a ball!!!!!
Arrived today already ate fergbaker treats and went up the gondola for dinner buffet. So full. Cardrona tomorrow!
What was the grub like at the buffet, Stamford?????
I’ve never done it!!!!! Nor the Gondy!!!!!
Nor the Gondy!!!!!
Really??
Nor the Gondy!!!!!
Really??
After doin the view in a Chopper, I wasn’t sure I’d get the intended buzz outta the view from the Gondola?????
Maybe next time I’ll have a squiz!!!!!
Gondola was ok but we went when it was dark so it would be nice in the day, still a great view. The buffet is ok, it’s a big pricey but good if your hungry. My tip would be go back to town for a feed much better food there and cheaper.
So Cardrona today was really nice. Bluebird for the first half and decent cover, nice dry snow too. The arvo got a bit windy but still nothing to worry about. It was pretty empty, no lines for anything and plenty of space to ride. Heading to remarks tomorrow might have to sit out we’d and thurs, we will see. Fingers crossed for snow and Friday Saturday should be a go!
If you want a good pub meal we went to this place and the food was seriously good! Really reasonably priced too

Plus they do an epic mulled wine!
Go to Cow Pizza!!!
Also try Atlas Beer Cafe!!!!!
And if ya wanna classy place to take the boss, go to the Bunker!!!!!
Thanks for the tips! We are gonna head to Pub on Wharf tonight for a feed and some beers.
So we went Remarkables today and it was awesome. I think I like it more than Cardrona although it was far busier but the sugar bowl had some cool features and some decent snow leading down back to the chair.
The hike up from the shadow basin chairlift was tough but oh so worth it, what an amazing view! The run down was nice and steep with a heap of powder so that was another bonus!
Fingers crossed for the next few days wind doesn’t hang around for too long, we still wanna hit Coronet and Treble Cone!
I agree with you on that one! I liked Cardrona and it was a nice change but I’ve got a soft spot for the Remarkables. Especially with the new chairlift! It makes such a huge difference and opens up so much more terrain.
Thanks air180 for the tip on pub on wharf! Dinner last night was epiccc I had a huge serving of meaty saucy ribs for $20! Beers good too! we stayed til close haha
