Hope evreythin’s goin fine with Michelle rider!!!!!

Make sure that ya give a Big Howdy and a Massive Get Well from all of the Crew At Boardworld!!!!!

ps I can’t blame the Doctors and Nurses from keepin ya away for the time bein!!!! Michelle probably told em what ya been upto of late, “deletin people”, sendin emails to the wrong person and startin threads that have already been started!!!!

If I were you rider, I’d keep away from hospitals for a while!!!! They have special wards for people that do strange things like that!!!!  ohh

Oh, and if ya need to know the location of spaz’s spycams, just go to xcam.com.au and you’ll be able to tell from the live feed cams he’s got on there!!!!

Hope Michelle heals up well and quickly! I took 3 months for mine to heal fully after surgery. But I needed my whole clavicle put back together so hopefully she is back into it quicker than that!

Here’s to a speedy recovery Michelle! smile

She’s resting on the couch right now. Her whole arm is still fully numb and she can’t even wiggle her fingers yet. We were told her recovery will be 6 to 12 months.

What did you do to your shoulder, K2? AC joint or did you break the clavicle?

Avatar

Wow 6-12! Poor thing.
I broke (exploded into many pieces) my clavic. Luckily not the ac so I have full range of movement but a long plate and 8 screws.
Was hers the AC? What have they said about range of movement once healed?

6 - 12 Months!!!!!  big surprise

That’s hectic!!!! Hope she’s closer to the 6 than the 12!!!!!

Wow K2, that’s heavy. How’d you do that?

They originally thought she fully tore her rotator cuff but turns out it wasn’t. No it wasn’t her AC, it was the ligaments on the front of the shoulder not the top.

Yeah I’m hoping she will have a quick recovery. No snowboarding this season in Australia but she should be back by next season in Whistler. She should be able to start light sport in about 6 months I hope. Not sure about the range of motion yet, I’ll ask the doc at the follow up in a week.

I was downhill mountain biking, went off a jump and totally overshot the landing. Landed flat over the bars my body vertical straight onto my shoulder. I heard t snap straight away, couldn’t breathe and thought I broke ribs. Turns out I snapped my scapula in half at the same time
