I cried when the first snow fell in Banff about 2 days before I left!
Had an awesome (hoping not) last weekend on snow!
I actually went out in the Backcountry with some folks from ski.com.au
We head out to Spencers creek and hit up Gutherie’s Ridge
This is the route we took
We had a couple of snowbaorders with us who loved the snowshoeing. But with soft spring snow it was pretty easy to navigate.
Would be interesting to see how it is we there is fresh.
I was pleasantly surprised by the snow quality.
If we get a dump of snow before early to mid November I am keen to drop everything and go down again.
I am sooo bored today that i have drunk too much espresso coffee and eaten so much chocolate… we pretty much have a limitless supply of both at work 
Is anyone seeing whats going on at the snowies??

Excitement plus near Chill Hill this arvo, a high speed pursuit that involved armed car jacking and hostages was ended in Swan Reach.
It was like OJ had come to visit
