I’m back to the grindstone of going through a 2hr dance concert today - it is three weeks overdue for delivery.
Had a pretty busy weekend;
Friday; My sister changed the location of my nieces 5th birthday party to my place, (all last week I had been volunteered to install their new kitchen and it was still a mess) - sis loves making cakes etc.. and the baking began.
This is my niece when she arrived at mine and saw the cake nearing completion.
Finally compressed and burnt a copy of the 2 hr dance concert (last in a series of 4 concerts) the process took my i7, 8GB, SSD, MacBookPro 8hrs!!!!! I sat down to watch it and within the first half hour saw a few mistakes-anyway the compression settings plus the data for menus overfilled the DVD capacity of 4.7GB so I need to correct mistakes (all minor) and recompres the footage - That will keep my puter busy for another day. But at least while it does it’s thing I can get some other productive things done Like fix the oil leak on my car
Sunday Visited PP after being up since 3am prepping for my nieces 5th birthday party. After my time with PP I returned to the party (don’t ask why PP couldn’t attend 
) at 4pm which had been relocated to my place - and lucky it was!! I walked in to about 30 kids and 20 adults-our place has never been so full!!!! there must have been about 100 helium balloons in the house!! Our place is huge and it easily catered for that amount of people.

2hrs in and the the power shut down!!!!!
At least I have FCP set to auto save every 5 mins and I lost only 1 min work - phew!!!!!
But the power blew because our sewer system had shat itself (hehe) ... the guys working on it had found the fault which was the pump and electrics running from the nearest outlet. While they drained the system I set to digging a trench to re lay the electrics.
The nearest electrical outlet is 5 meters from the sewer and I decided to dig it by hand and not spend the time hiring and waiting for a trench digger to arrive. It’s only 5 meters!!!!! I got it half done 
- most of the time was spent locating the current conduit, I’ll finish it off tomoz.
Pretty sure that will cover the rent for this week.
