I got a last minute shift on new years eve as a server at the Mexican joint and pulled $120 in tips in a 5 hour shift ($45 actual wages) and then the boss gave me free food, a beer and a $20 bonus for coming in. Was so worth it. Then as a lifty, I got double time and a half.
Some guests came around with lollies and chocolate etc and one lovely couple wrapped up shortbread or Toblerone for all the lifties. So generous!

How is Pano going?
Not a bad thing to say about Pano! relatively quite. Some great Patrolled Back country stuff which you have to hike out to. And its in a central location to A lot of other local ski resorts Longest lift lines you get are like 10 mins and thats only one one lift. I work night shift so I board almost every day which is great! Slight downside its a ” family” resort so they may not build a park this year :(
