Can’t make February work? If I wasn’t restricted to travelling in school holidays Early Feb would be my pick based on price/conditions.

Also worth pricing up something yourself rather than a package.

Yeah, I’d aim for early Feb too, but there is some advantages of a March stint!!!!!

Price is one major factor, cause ya can virtually double your stay by moving from Feb > March!!!!!

If it’s more Park style riding ya want, then March is good as they are better conditions to maintain and build features, along with the Big Air Bag Jump comin out early March!!!!!

Plus the crowds will be thinner both on the hill, and in some of the busier Izakayas, so less chance of missin out on some of the good places to go!!!!!

Only downside is less chance of deep fluffy pow pow!!!!!

Yeah good points! Japan riding to me is all about the white fluffy stuff and hard wooden things in between!

An upside of some of the places I’ve ridden at (mainly Myoko) is they are dead quite even during the middle of January presumed Feb would be a ghost town everywhere. Didn’t know the prices dropped that much from Feb I try to avoid reading about anything but the peak prices I pay…  teacherboy

If March is the only option Hokkaido is definitely the place to go though!

Speaking of Izakayas did you enjoy last nights Destination Japan? Lots of familiar places in the background. Karaage is my splurge fatty meal, I still rate a tiny Izakaya in Myoko as the best I’ve had. When he mentioned Donburi I was expecting him to walk into a Yoshinoya not some fancy pants restaurant!

Yeah, Hokkaido is def the place to go in March!!!!!

March is supposedly like a Ghost Town in Niseko, so if ya lucky enough to get a good period of snowfall, ya gonna hit the jackpot!!!!!

I just can’t bring myself to risk it, and are willin to battle the “crowds” for sweet sweet Hokkaido Pow!!!!!

But as I’ve mentioned before, Niseko isn’t that crowded even in Feb!!!!! We caught the shuttle over to Hanazono one morn, and we ended up with first chair on a Bluebird Pow morning!!!!!

It’s the first scene here in this vid where we’re waitin a whole 5mins for the Lifties to open the gate!!!!! Then a lot of the scenes show the crowds!!!!!

Yeah, last nights show was another fine episode, but I have been enjoyin the more Rural Towns that he’s been goin through in the other episodes!!!!!

Yeah, wasn’t a fan of the Donburi dish or the look of the restaurant really!!!!!
