If you wanted to look at accommodation in Jindy, the NSW Sport and Rec facility is awesome. We have used it twice for gridiron training camps and it is great!

Those on a tighter budget, we are looking into YHA in Thredbo or Sport & Rec on the Barry Way (Jindy) - 40km from Thredbo (easy to hitchhike)

Normally it is about 5 hrs from Melbourne - the same as from Sydney, just a lot more corners but less traffic. Correct me if I’m wrong.
If you left at lunch Fri, you would get there well before anyone was asleep.

Lads, that sounds fantastic. i’m definitely in! i would much rather prefer a first week of september, however seeing that tally is growing for around 12-18th ill just go with that. and will definitely have to be back in Syd on 18th, so put me in for mid week 14-17. keep me updated

Yeah I would get the next Monday/Tues off too I reckon! Just have an overnight work thing on the Thursday that I can’t get out of…. Looking promising!
