last year we called it the chinese downhill and it took place on Mt P, im proposing this year at the shred we copy volcom and choose the longest run at thredbo and race top to bottom
*yes i know skip has already posted this vid in the snowboarding section*
Top to bottom of the supertrail (if there will be any snow)

So race down merrits?
Or you know we could turn it into an obstacle course.
Race down High Noon til snow runs out, unstrap run to River Inn and buy a beer and down it and put glass upside down on top of your head…
I think all Chinese Dowhill races should start with a run to your board and strap one foot in. Push to another point, then strap the bac foot in then your off
That would work with the High Noon run. Easy to have a start point then a second foot strap in point.
I like these ideas. It would have to be at least a schooner of beer, no buying midi’s…
High noon would work well, things like where do you call it to unstrap and start running to the pub lol.

Loving the ideas!!! definitely in for this one, Oz!
If Dan is coming, he has to scull a pitcher. Not fair us competing agains his sculling skills with a regular beer
Top of Antons > Down High Noon (Via Michael’s Mistake) would be good!!!!!
Or for an easier gradient for all ability levels, The Village Trail!!!!!
* Snow Conditions Permitting
That could be good.
But I would be worried about the location of a patrol building at the top of Antons…
I know for a fact that Thredbo Patrol are nowhere near as cool as Perishers

Yeah, same goes for Snowdragon - those two are dangerous

along these lines, but start at the top of Karels (green circle) and finish at the River inn, (red circle)
im thinking something like this:
1.a run to board point at the start
2. strap in
3. Go hell for leather and get to the River inn as fast as you can ANY WAY YOU LIKE
4. get a beer (if we have a volunteer, all prepay and have the beers lined up on a table on the river in outside deck)
5. scull the beer!
And to make it fair, split into 3 categories like last year, beginners go, then intermediate, then advanced, not sure of the time gap, maybe 30 seconds between each (maybe try and work that out when we’re there)
You need some decent gradient, otherwise everyone will be stuck on slow bits. Keep that in mind. People can just do more turns if they want to slow down. Dont forget snow will likely be spring conditions and slow.
