I have one of these 2006 Nissan X-Trail. Does the trick
Hey oriphinz I remember reading the build log on your gloria ages ago.. I absolutely love it! Not a car you see on aussie roads every day!
And in keeping on track I drive a honda civic, cos I like rice
For spaz….
The snow Chariot is a 2002 Subaru Outback 3L H6. Its ugly but does the job and comfortably.
The work car is a POS 2010 RAV4 AWD. Its crap on fuel, slow, but its free!
I have always been a big car Fanatic. Until recently i was always into the Jap car scene, Turbo 4cyl with Subaru’s being my addiction. I bought this as my first ever car 1992 Subar Liberty GX, was AWD non turbo Auto, i converted it to JDM WRX STI running gear and manual in my garage over a few weeks, then went to town on it. Managed over 200 awkw and a 12.5s QTR mile. The only things i didnt do myself in the garage was the Exhaust welding and Wheel alignments/Tyre fitting. Done numerous track days and skid pans in it. The best thing was it was so unexpectedly quick, as all the dront mount was hidden and doesnt look like a WRX or STI. Which was a bonus for insurance as it was less than half the price of one to insure.
My new car is a complete different story, weighs more, engine is over 3x the size, way slower, but so much cooler. I have owned this since the begginning of the year, and probably will own it for ever. Its a 1961 Cadillac Coupe DeVille.
Your caddy is sick. Does it take Leaded fuel or did someone do the replacement to unleaded?
Is there many issues with running such an old car?

Yeh not surprising, its actually the only Y32 Cedric in Aus
For those that havn’t seen this is a “before” pic of the ceddy before the restoration:
Nice resto mate. Is the back tyres supposed to be on an angle? are they special rims / tyres? How much does that set you back when you need new ones lol.

Cheers Yep its a Japanese style called VIP Style. Wheels were very expensive (about 2k each) tyres are cheap and just normal ones but i need to swap the left tyre to the right side every 2000ish kms to keep the wear even.

Also if you want to see something really crazy look up “Oni Camber” these guys use custom control arm and really push things to the limit.
Couple more pics:
My rides: Toyota Corolla, Sea-Doo GTX.

Think it looks better with the design next to each other. If you look at them separately it looks a bit silly (1/2 a car)

Thanks mate
I just put premium fuel into her, sometimes i put the lead replacement but to be honest i have only done it 2 or 3 times and that was mostly when i first got it.
The only thing that has gone wrong with it thus far is the 52 year old Generator (predecessor to an alternator) bearings packed it in and the battery wouldnt charge. Went to repco and bought a GM alternator and wired that it within 30 minutes lol. Oh and module for the electric poppers for the shaved doors played silly buggers, i just got a new one for $60 so i had some new remotes as well.
The biggest pain in the ass is trying to find parking spots, and the oil leaks on the garage floor haha.
