I love that there’s a new car thread and it gives me an excuse to repost my68vw photos.
Swaped a case of beer for this 1968 VW Type3 Squareback, stripped it down and rebuilt it over 9months.
First rego.

Heaps of room for a small car - the board on the left is almost 8foot and look how much space is left.
1st gearbox replacement (of 4) and an new paint job that cost $96.00 
More snow.
Terrible pic but thats the porsche designed, 4cly 2.0, aircooled engine, 300% more powerful than original ($8.5K in engine parts)

On it’s way to where it waits for a $3000 gearbox to be installed and the beginnings of a back to metal paint resto with one panel near finished.
It’s been waiting so long the green paint has faded and some good surface rust has appeared.
The only shot I have of the wrx seats. The interior looks crap but it’s hiding 7 speakers, video monitors, dvd, TV, iPod WiFi, reverse and driving cameras.
While waiting for my68vw to get back on the road I drive this 2004 Ford Territory Ghia.
My first ute, bought it brand new when I was 23, such a fun car, didn’t do to much to it other than apod filter and a cat back, made it sound like a proper V8 rather than a vacuum cleaner like the stock zorst on the VY’s.
Bought this 5 years later and spent a fair bit of coin on it, loved this car more than any other I’ve had I think.
Then I went to turbo diesel town with the Ford Ranger
And now I’ve got the Rok, very impressed with this car so far!
Spaz that vw is incredible!
