Whistler Season Accomodation

Hey guys,

First post on Boardworld for me, I hope I do this right. I was wondering if anyone knew some good places to stay in Whistler for a season?
I know to check out craigslist, the Question and Pique local papers (generally closer to the season start I think); but can anyone recommend somewhere based on a great time or great customer relations? Customer service is quite important to me and I’d rather fork out a little extra for good service.
I plan on working up there, either for Intrawest or an independent employer, is it best to secure accommodation before finding work?

Having not been to Whistler before I dont having much to base this on but what they say they offer appealled to me as somone heading across on my own for the season.
