Pity about the lens flare, cool shot.
yeah, I normally like lens flares but this one just had bad placement
Agreed!
Do you believe that the placement of lens fare can be controlled? Or is it just luck??
To be honest; I believe luck and chance play a major role in great photo’s. You have obvious talent and a good acceptance of allowing the breaking of “the rules”
- I like your work, good or bad. Keep it up!
EDIT : double post.
They can be controlled, you can see them in the camera and if you have the time to set up and block the shot you can make them work for you. With action shots though you just snap and kind of hope for the best.
I would also say luck plays a much bigger roll when you are just learning, as you go you use those lucky shots as a model for your new ones. but sometimes you really do get a truly lucky once in a lifetime shot.
Yeah great work 27w. Very cool photos!

Some good looking photos.
Its making me very jealous of not making in uo to the Northern Hemisphere this winter.
I see there are a few Jeremy Jones wannabe’s getting into the 1 footed spinning disc action
Congratulations twenty7w, your photos have been posted to the snow homepage: http://www.boardworld.com.au/snow
