Just out of interest, how many of you “crayon” the wax instead of dribbling it on?

I crayon. I find it saves time and wax.

I did three boards on Saturday!!!

The video BW helped heaps!!! Pretty happy with end result because i started out using tons of wax but ended up getting the amount of wax right.

Next time I’ll try the crayon technique..

sometimes I crayon the wax onto the board and then run the hot iron over the board to make sure the base absorbs the wax

^ thats the technique of crayoning.

There are rub on waxes, some soft compound others hard. But crayoning with an iron on still needs to be ironed in.
