Dave if i go it will be at about 3ish so I can get there at a reasonable hour, I’m not overly concerned about the Rok just another one of the pros and cons hanging about the decision making process. Jeeebus I’m starting to sound like an indecisive schoolgirl trying on prom dresses.
Will also just be taking the FDome to make it all very quick and easy, will make a decision soon.

I would go M7 so a touch over an hour from when I leave home till when the M7 meets the M5.

I think we were all on the road (some a little more to the side than others) that night. Was pretty hairy driving down that last bit into Jindy. I didn’t know it was your car at the time but it encouraged me to slow down a little.
Dave what’s the earliest you could go? Apologies to your Mum but I can have you back in time for Sunday dinner instead which is more a family night than Friday right?

I should be fine if you are passing through (m7/m5 crossroadsish area) around 4ish. Can try to get out of work early but I have to swing by my parents to pack all my snow/camping gear that I have left there then drive to the meeting point.
Mate if you could do 3:30 that would probably be perfect. Not knowing the area too well where would you want to park and jump in mine?

Ok the easiest for you would be meeting just after the m7 joins into the m5/hume exiting at camden valley way. The bunnings car park corner of beech rd and camden valley way would be the pick. It’s just a case of taking a left at the camden valley way exit and a couple of hundred metres up the rd theres a set of lights you turn right at into bunnings. From there it’s literally only a couple of minutes before you are back on the m5/hume and there’s no additonal tolls etc.
