It’s in a cast your wrist is about as safe as it’s going to get. Can’t say the same for the rest of your arm though if it defers the impact there.
I wouldn’t be overly keen on getting it all sweaty inside either.
I might head down this weekend…
yeah little worried about pushing an injury elsewhere but i dont think ill go too hard so think it should be cool. 100% not keen for sweaty hand/arm. I was thinking, cause i cant get a glove on, of using a glove/plastic bag/sock hybrid.. but your comment got me thinking about breathability, thats going to be one rank un wrapping at the end of the day…
So… yeah dude, I’ll see you down there on the weekend….
hahhahahhahha! fuck yea!
hope your injury isnt too bad though dude
hopefully catch up with you both on the w/e! yew!
(I’m typing this from my bed, after spending yesterday in hospital from my ‘oopsie’ in the Park on Saturday. No snowboarding for minimum four weeks)
Haha!
Yeah last weekend the Perisher Dr told me not to ski!
I still worked!
And last week the Neuro told me not to ski either… guess what i am doing this weekend..
I tried to explain to both that I could ski before I could walk and that I fall less skiing than walking…

Yes but just don’t try to duck boundary ropes, I seem to remember very amusing fail occurring last time you tried.

exactly - imagine how much worst it would have been if i was walking!
Whose heading down this weekend? Thinking I might be doing a solo mission as looks like it will be snowing all weekend so not super fun for a beginner ie: the girlfriend.
What happened???
I landed pretty hard off the last jump. My left foot went numb from the knee down, and stayed numb until I got back to Canberra, which was a little worrying. I went and got x-rays and a couple of the small bones in my foot are broken. Went from numbness to straight on to the painkillers so can’t complain too much.

Dan and I are heading down on Friday night.
I am sure he is keen for a riding buddy!
