Was meant to go down this weekend but zero chance of that unless they magically get some snow.
I’m going this weekend.. With or with out snow.. The news looks bad then good.. We are forecast for some ‘R’ word tomorrow night and Thursday.. Turning to snow late Thursday and staying that way over the weekend. But everything says something different.. I’ve also seen that it will be snow from tomorrow.. Above 1900.. Then dropping to 1600 then 1500 by Saturday..
either way, we are booked.. And worst case scenario, we will visit crackenback maze, the schnapps brewery.. (might even take my skate board) and explore the lake.. Might even drive back up over the snowy mountains highway.. And get some photos near old adaminaby and up near the look out for lake eucumbene
drove that way early last year and the views and the drive was amazing.. (and the other stuff we say we will do every year but never get around to it - we can’t bare to sacrifice days on snow haha)

But just a heads up the Maze is no longer operational - public liability insurance too expensive.
The only thing that is there is the Local Growers Market on the first Saturday of every month.
If you do the snowy mtns road maybe think about visiting Yarrongabilly caves.
The thermal pool is pretty cool.
Swing into Cabramurra (Australia’s highest township) and check out the Ski Club and Poma where i grew up skiing!
Once again I’m packed and ready to go if the weather turns favourable later in the week. *fingers crossed*
If we get some falls this week I will do a day trip. Gotta pick up the board I won from there anyway.
