Welcome to the new Boardworld Forums

Hey guys,

Welcome to the new chapter of the Boardworld Forums.

Firstly, we want to thank you for your patience and contant support.

Secondly, we want to point out that what you see now is not the finished product. What you see now is the culmination of many weeks of work, trial and error, and getting lots of feedback. We still have a lot of “features” and “bugs” to get to, which we can now start focussing on. I will be starting a new thread shortly to get direct feedback on bugs and things that need attention or fixing.

There are still big functions that need to come through, like member profiles (and PMs I believe). The smiley buttons aren’t working yet etc. We are well aware of all of that.

We want to welcome you back to the Boardworld Forums and we hope you like the new interface.

I thought it was live for everyone. Right now you can select “Boardworld” as a theme at the bottom to turn it on. Eventually we will be turning it on for everyone anyway.

There *are* some issues still floating around (stuff I haven’t had time to finish up just yet).

nacho’s to-do-list of pain:

- member profile layout to be completely redone
- ...actually, *all* of the member related stuff.
- smileys popup in forum replies
- add a ‘register’ link.
- fix up the layout on the ‘search’ pages.
- various other sexy shit.
- change rider26’s avatar to a compromising picture of Elton John.

If there’s anything else I’ve missed - please post it in this thread and I’ll be across it.

buttons for view new posts when you are in a thread. It’s there on the forum page

Is it just me, or should the width of the posts be wider… Is anyone still using a 19” or smaller non wide screen?
