Spaz, you will have to wait in regards to chess, I have known this was coming but now that it’s public knowledge my workload and phone are exploding and I’m going to Melbourne (an actual proper city) on Monday for a couple of days.
Excerpt from the email from the MD of my company.
“In light of these global and local dynamics, it has been decided that XXXX Australia will exit the Electronic Security market via a co-ordinated and phased transition which will conclude in early 2014. During this process we will offer a seamless experience to our client base by honouring existing customer contracts and obligations. XXX XXX will lead the transition and maintain responsibility for our electronic security customers, internal/external communications, process re-engineering and manage the resources required to close out the remaining projects. Naturally, this decision will have a direct impact on Associates aligned with the electronic security business and those effected have been notified earlier today. Due to the phased nature of the transition, some Associates will continue with the business in line with customer project timelines and to ensure a smooth handover.”
Rainbow is close but not tech correct. U wanna have another crack. The sand didnt usrd to be there and the wave hugged tge point more. We usrd to camp on the point and stumble from the tents to the jump rock. The Rangers stopped that shit yrs ago when it git popular. When noosa was pumpin we’d go there and be the only guys out. Magic wave with a touch of the novelty about it.
Oh I didn’t actually name it, Double Island Point right?
Yep. D.I. when its small here the noosa side of the pt is a swell magnet.
I live near Campbelltown (part of Sydney) but work in Wollongong, surf in Wollongong.
If you took the population of surfers in each city I’m sure Wollongong will have a larger surfing population:total population than Sydney does.
They might not all have full time jobs but the stats might show it’s a preferred city for surfers to live in.
In that regard the Gold Coast would trump Sydney I would think.
That’s just off scale. Hows the boat on the rocks???
Spaz, I can’t spare the time or concentration at this juncture to continue to debate the merits of various cities as the most desirable city for a surfer to live in suffice to say that for my particular skillset and employment opportunities and likewise for many of my friends, Sydney is the only city to live in as a surfer. I’m hoping that things slack off on the work front soon and I can resume debating first world problems with all and sundry, remember boys and girls, you’re never wrong if you argue correctly.
Now to bring this thread back to topic and revive it from 4 days of death, where is this?
Looks like teahupoo but I’m running with Coudbreak.
Is it Cloudbreak?
Yeah it is, seemed fitting with the ASP currently running there at the moment!
A mate of mine from back in the day is a lifeguard over there, these are a couple of pics of him out at Cloudbreak when it’s big…..................................
Cloudbreak
