I love the idea… the site is super easy to use and there are quite a few options.. I do agree with adding black and custom graphics (maybe screen printed?) also seems like a good addition, but other then that I really like the idea.. next time I’m in the market for a new jacket I will definitely consider this as an option.. (I love being different.. and this allows you to be,) chances of you seeing some one on the slopes with the same jacket are soooo low..
Just curious as to how much shipping to Australia would work out to be?
Thanks for the insight. We have been getting quite a few requests for custom graphics - we may add this feature in the future.
The option for black is no longer available as our black inventory ran out last week. We remove colors from the site when they are no longer available. Black will be re-stocked next season!
Shipping to Aus is $50.
Cheers
Welcome back, Nmarvik.
I actually quite like the idea and props to you for trying something different.
To me, function is the the most important aspect of outerwear. 15K is good, but are you going to have other options down the line? 20K+ or even Gore-tex?
I find it a bit misleading to call 15K “waterproof”. Being actually “waterproof” and having a “waterproof rating” are two different things. 5K is a waterproof rating; does that make it waterproof? I’m just picking on details but I think it’s important to address.
Other than that, it looks like you’re on to an interesting idea that has the potential to do very well. I wish you luck and please keep us informed. I just followed you guys on Facebook.
Oz, we actually deleted a lot of inactive accounts recently, so we might not have been able to reset his account anyway. Let’s give him the benefit of the doubt.
Hey Rider,
Thanks for your stoke! We are looking to expand our fabric options down the line. Of course Gore-tex is our long-term goal, however landing a contract and manufacturing with Gore-tex is very difficult.. They have many regulations and procedures that must be met in-order to use Gore-tex fabric in apparel products - we’re working on it!
Thanks again for your input, keep it coming!
Cheers
If you PM’d Rider I am sure he would help you reset your acct.
Surely you must be able to see that we would prefer to help actual members of the forum.
Although in saying that you could have just introduce yourself and said “Hi guys great site i was wondering if you could help me with some research”
You don’t need to lie or offer free stuff.
A great example is this thread https://www.boardworld.com.au/forums/viewthread/10963/
No need to jump to conclusion. I actually did have an account, which has been inactive for sometime now - hence why I created a new account.
I’m not here to lie, but you are more then welcome to think that.
Appreciate you pointing me in the right direction on how I should be posting from now on!
Thanks
I reckon this is a great idea. I had some fun making my own different designs on your site.
Im not fussed that you have run out of black, Im so sick of seeing EVERYONE on the slopes in black! I always make my mates get something wild coloured so that I can pick them out from the crowd when riding together.
15K is decent, I have been in torrential downpours in my 10k jacket and still stayed comfortably dry. Gore-tex is just a brand name and its not the be all and end all of water resistance, there are other technology’s out there that are just as good, but everyone wants the name.
It’s not all about Gore-tex, but in a place like Whistler I would want more than 15k. 3CS is a great example of a leading outerwear brand that doesn’t use Gore-tex but they have a lot of 20K and 30K hard wearing fabrics that hold up against the elements. I totally understand this is a new company and all. It’s good to know their future direction is different fabric options. Good stuff.
I would rock this mo-fo like a BAWSSSSSS!
If you could send a sample to one of our regular admins to demo and review in the southern hemisphere season it might help to encourage others to get on board..
There’s definitely something to be said for buying from brands that have a good rep in terms of longevity and functionality. It could be a bit of a leap of faith to spend $$ on an unknown startup… (although USA made quality is probably better than China or Vietnam)
That being said, you’re idea for design your own gear is super cool and I’ll definitely be playing around to make my own designs when I’m not at work and have some free time
Hope it goes well for you man

That’s awesome Trent!!
I had pink as the body, the right arm the same as yours(aqua/turquoise?) and that colour for the hood too, then the blue for the left arm, black zippers, and the lime green for the Velcro on the sleeves..
I might remake it then post it on here, Mr.h0z had orange body and green arms and hood, with I think black zippers.. And orange on the Velcro
also, thanks for the response on shipping.. That’s a pretty decent price, and I like antis idea of sending one demo jacket to rider or some one for us to all see when we all go down the snow,
If you could send a sample to everyone with over a 500 post count to demo and review in the southern hemisphere season it might help to encourage others to get on board..

I like where this is heading…
Such a dope idea. Will you get patterns? Like camo, pinstripe?
