Hi!
This is my first board- no more rentals!
I’m a noob in snow gear, but according to the shape, where is the nose of this board?
I’m also looking for some cheap bindings, do you think that Nitro Raiden Zero is a good choice? FS isn’t my point of interest, i just like slopes and pow, and I’m still learning to ride.
The board it’s a Jones Mountain Twin.
Hay tomato!!!!!
There should be some sort of writing/text on the board yeah????? (Other than the Logo)
Stand the board up, and if the text is the right way up, then the top will be the Nose!!!!!
One of the guys (mudhoney) on here had/still has the Nitro Raiden’s and he wasn’t impressed from what I gathered!!!!!
Hope his helps?????

Hey Tomato!
Nice board looks sweet.
My mate used the Nitro Raiden after his Burton C02 bindings blew out in Europe. Said they were ok but very , very basic.
Try get some second hand good bindings if you want to save some pennies. Burton Cartels are always a family favourite and popular model for toughness.
Enjoy!
looking at your picture i would guess it’s on the right, since there’s more rocker there (but it could just be the pic).
Look here at the official photos from Jones’ booth at SIA

it looks like the mountain that is higher on the right is the tail
edit: lol it looks like the nose is on the left side.
Yes, it helps! Thanks!
I tought, that the nose should be a little bit higher and longer than the tail, if you know what i mean.
And I was wrong!
apparently there is an ‘s’ on the nose
edit: i guess that’s the ‘s’ from ‘jones’ on the base. does that match with my mountain theory?
look at burton cobrasharks. super cheap but good tech
Yes Gamblor, you are right!
Used cartels costs more than new Nitros. The same thing is with K2, Rome or other better bindings. For that price i can cop only some basic models.
How about Rome Mob or K2 Indy? Almost the same price as Nitro.
You get what ya pay for though!!!!! And with it bein a stiffer flex board, ya best bet will be a stiffer binding!!!!! (Some will argue this point)
Unless ya can find some older stock of a better binding?????
FLUX TT30’s will suit that nicely, if ya can find some last years models!!!!!
this board is not very stiff
yes, it’s medium stiff allaround board for every terrain.
i’m a intermediate-beginner rider and very stiff bindings are not what i’m looking for.
Mid range then????? It’s not a Jib Stick!!!!!
I don’t reckon that a soft binding will suit!!!!!
Normally Cheaper End Bindings are made for the beginner/learner and are naturally a softer flex binding!!!!!
I’m not sure, but I reckon the Mountain Twin isn’t a Beginners Board?????
TT30’s like I suggested aren’t the stiffest binding!!!!!
They are mid-range!!!!!
I did say “stiffer” in my post????? As opposed to “stiff”!!!!!
Sorry if I threw ya off!!!!!
what does ‘tt’ stand for? are the tt29’s any cheaper?
Cheaper than the offspring of a Cobra that had rooted a Shark I would guess?????
I found unused FLUX Distortion 2010, what do you think about them?
