you should be fine with late july to early august. A trip of say 24th-5th you would be sweet. (Roughly first 1 or 2 weeks of uni)

Anywho thanks for the info, we are also looking at going late july, The tip about waiting for sales is a great idea. i was thinking about going through a travel agent but they where asking 9k for 4 people for 14 days with 10days boarding. I thought that was a bit steap (or is it?).

if you do it on the cheap and take some of my advice, you can easily do 2 weeks for about 1500 each.

what is this shred you speak of? I’ll be in NZ 2nd Aug to 14th Aug. Flying into Christchurch and making my way down to QT, will be in QT 7th Aug.
Also, Jetstar currently have some really cheap flights Gold Coast - Christchurch if anyone is in that area.
Might be worth checking out for other cities as well.

The entire area is blessed with snow capped mountains, making for the perfect conditions for skiing and snowboarding. Queenstown ski field, Cardrona ski field, Alpine heli-ski, there is plenty of fun to be had for everyone.
