Yeah, I think that too much Chocolate can kill them!!!!!
Should never feed chocolate to dogs. Not sure about other animals though.
I think BBQ’d foods are bad as well.

I knew it was bad for dog’s but didn’t know the human side of things so I looked into it. From my reading I’d also be very careful with small mammals/birds it doesn’t take much at all!
The two toxic substances in Chocolate are Caffeine and Theobromine.
LD50 - Theobromine ~ 1000 mg/kg
LD50 - Caffeine ~ 175 mg/kg
Theobromine 1.3% in chocolate
Caffeine 0.02% in chocolate
Therefore Theobromine is the most dangerous toxin in chocolate.
Given an average weight of a human of 80kg
LD50 theobromine = 80,000 mg
6.15 Kg of chocolate would kill half of people of average weight

Buddy always has a ball with him and loves to play all the time. Probably the most independent dog I’ve had, waffle on the other hand always needs to be near someone or next to buddy.
