That’s really weird. I wonder how RED/Burton feels about him selling a different brand of helmet. I think Shaun needs a new agent and management team. What does Shaun White have to do with scooters or bikes?
Andy T, I think you on it. I watched a flick with him heliboarding. His freestyle boarding seem ordinary if not scratchy compare to the other boarder in the same flick, doing the same lines. What blow me out was his self-appraisal’s of his runs He was ordinary and he knew it. If you not suited to something just admit it.

This is something I don’t like about extreme sports.
There are those who support it as best they can in hopes that people respect that and buy their products.
And then there a people who only seek to profit from our community. And as soon as the spot light turns to another sport, they will be gone just as fast.
I just hope snowboarding can hold it together when we’re not the cool thing to do in the media’s eyes.
Yea I agree with Andy and Rider. I think this is pushing it. Who knows maybe he’ll ditch Burton and make his own company.

I get the impression that he’s past caring what people think. Most of the snowboarding community seems to have thought (or by acting “cool”, thought) he’s a sell-out for a while. He’s probably gotten used to the fact that he can’t please everyone so may as well let the marketers have their way.
He was such a friendly, cheery kid in First Descent. I wonder what that movie would be like now with modern day Shaun White?

I liked First Descent, and absolutely loved the White Album, but even in those movies he has an heir of arrogance about him!!!!!
And I definitely believe that to get to the elite level of any chosen field this is a trait that you have to have, but it’s how you control that trait that makes a true legend in the end!!!!!
