It looks like we will be losing our YouTube channel. We were asked by Olliepop Films to post their Leukaemia Foundation fundraiser film on our channel. We did just that, however Universal Music Group (UMG) has filed a copyright notice (for one of the tracks) and our channel is probably going to be terminated. I have spent countless hours trying to appeal and ultimately save our channel. Our YouTube channel represents almost three years of hard work, thousands of subscribers, and over 700,000 views.

So devo… 

that sucks so bad! Hope it gets resolved mate. Youtube keeps disapointing

Thanks mate. It really does suck. I guess that’s what happens when you trust a massive corporation. They can destroy your hard work at the click of a button. It’s happened countless times before to other great channels. Vimeo is so much better but YouTube gets way more traffic. We’re trying to promote the website so we need to be on there. It will take so much more work to get back to where we were… lame!

God an innocent charity… I have never got what the prob is with using bands music…. its promotional isn’t it?!?!

I understand radio stations play for royalties because they have advertising revenues. But a charity - man what is the world coming to.
