Snowboard Designs (Chemical Storm)
Here is a chance to post the designs you came up with for the Chemical Storm Competition that weren’t submitted or you had been working on - you can re-post what you entered but please write something about how your concepts came about.
I had three concepts
- Park Monkey
- Octopus
- Transformers
Some of these are not completed designs.
Park Monkey was inspired by riding the octorocker, although not strictly a park board it gave me a new appreciation for park riding.
This was my first idea.
Which ended up as this
A fun take on the concept
Octopus came from the name “Octorocker”
I was using a Blue Ringed octopus to try and keep it aussie (the base layer is above in this image)
This design was on my shortlist as an entry
My kid loves Bumblebee from Transformers.
Which inspired this
As I played with different images from Transformers this design fell together. I really like the base layer and this would have been my entry in the comp if I was on the ball and not shredding and partying so much this season.

And the aussie blue ring occy is a good touch
The first octopus is sick spaz.
Yeah the Bumblebee one is sick. Liking the Park Monkey concept too.
Some of those are really good, why didnt you enter them???????. pretty much all of them are good concepts. really like the first two park monkey ones. even if it isn’t a monkey on it 
. Park Gorrilla really would only apply to Mizu though so I can see why that dont work

this is a concept which was totally inspired by the antics at The Shred ‘11
Was a 2min throw together on paint. so will do a proper version sometime on PS. but its more the concept behind it

I think the White top and Black base would be awesome on the F#$K YEAH board, I mainly like black bases as they don’t get dirty so easily and black P-Tex is easy to find if you hit a rock or something.
