Definitely! Like I will never win the photo contests, some people will just never have a chance to win this one…

^ You all saw it, so there is no point claiming I made the grab but in the video and stills it looks like I pulled it off.
The heavy strapping on my knee and brace on the other knee restricted how far my knee’s would bend.
Excuses aside I didn’t actually pull a Flying Squirrel any time this season but I have to at least post the still.

I’ve never tried a flying squirrel but I’m counting down the days till I get to have a go. How did everyone go regarding the landings? Were people thrown out of shape or was there lots of stompage going down?
Regarding what people have been saying regarding contests for next year I have a few thoughts…..there seems to me to be two contests trying to get out here. The first similar to the squirrel contest for more technical grabs (double tail, cross double tail, drunk/truck driver?) and the second perhaps more based on style and creativity, perhaps best photo with an indy grab, (indy nosebone, corked back 5 indy…..?).
On a slightly different contest idea, most amplitude doing a switch air?
Some one should do a stoney baloney as well.
do you mean a straight Switch air Aidy? no grabs no moves? that is way harder than doing a switch 1,3,5 in my books. would be funny to hit a bigger jump and try and sail straight over switch

As an improvement on the debacle that was, first one to the bottom that was this years race! We def need footage of the races. I will put my hand up for that as there is no way I will be racing switch… or maybe I can race normally as i am handicapped on a board anyway!

We had quite a few switch races during the week. We also had a some handicapped races (some people got head starts). It was good fun! 
We could always go 1x Flying Squirrel Comp.
And 1x Best Trick (by a member caught in a photo) Comp.
Opens it up to some massive Methods / Tail Grabs / Flips / Spins / Rails / Boxes / Jibs.

It took me a while to work out how to stomp the landing, fast eddie offered no advice when I asked before making this attempt so I went with what I had learned from practice attempts through the season. Lots of air and keep the nose up - because the double grab pulls the nose down.
