DAY 1 HIGHLIGHTS
The opening day of the 2011 Hurley Pro at Trestles saw the world’s best surfers tear into high-performance two-to-three foot (1 metre) waves at the iconic pointbreak of Lower Trestles, and the event’s top seeds dominated against the new addition of ASP Dream Tour surfers brought on via the midyear rotation.
DAY 2 HIGHLIGHTS
The Hurley Pro at Trestles, Event No. 7 of 11 on the 2011 ASP World Title Series, recommenced in rippable two-to-four (1 metre) surf at Lowers this morning for Round 2 of competition, and it was the youngsters lighting things up in the elimination man-on-man bouts.
DAY 3 HIGHLIGHTS
The Hurley Pro at Trestles returned to Lowers for the third consecutive day and saw the world’s best surfers put in stellar performances in improved conditions as the frontrunners on the ASP Top 34 proved lethal in their battle for this year’s heated ASP World Title race.
FINAL DAY HIGHLIGHTS
Slater and Wright’s third consecutive Final bout marks a first in ASP history, as no two competitors have faced off in three successive ASP Dream Tour Finals—a noteworthy statistic in sparking this new rivalry in the battle for the ASP World Title.
