I’ve all but finished for the season. Now back in the land of grass and sand.
First thing on the agenda is mowing the lawn - all 3.5 acres that hasn’t been touched for months!
(at least the landscaping I did last summer is covered)

Yeh mate I hear you. I’ve been putting off quite a few chores myself.
-Clean-up front yard
-Clean-up back yard
-Top-up all garden beds
-Re lay lawn irrigation pipes in back yard
-Fix irrigation system
-Clean all gutters
-Clean-out whole house pre-painting
-Paint whole interior of house
-Move furniture back in
-Re-carpet bottom half of house
-Move laundry to back of garage
-Convert laundry in to study

I went for a shred yesterday before I left. Snow was heavy and slow and I was lethargic.
Chucky and BK hit P as did a dozen other thredbonites - haven’t had a report back yet….
At least the elephant snot gave a little more cover. Perisher is the place to ride out the season. Will probably hit it Monday week, if any snow is left. Forecast is on the money.

Decided to keep my busy during my time off in holidays and not being able to be to active I’d work on my latte art. Here is my heart i just poured

I also live at my mums in Narellan Vale or I rent a place in Wollongong over summer.
I drive a lot - every second weekend to Sydney during winter then back to Thredbo after the weekend. My work has to allow for maximum snow time.
It’s not luck, it’s commitment to living the dream.
Outside of winter I surf and save what I can for the next snow season - been doing it for 13 years.
Been busting my arse packing and organising to move nearly all day today. Called the phone company, electricity & gas company, organised to have the austar disconnected, put my form in to have the mail re-directed and organised a council kerbside collection….Plus we packed a Nissan Navara and the Kingswood full of stuff to drive up with tomorrow.
Heading up to sign the lease and collect the keys in the morning!....Then back home to pack more and have everything ready for the thrifty rent-a-truck for monday for the rest of the moving!
moving sucks.
I am excited though. Really looking forward to being in our new place.
