I hope everyone is well and enjoying the last couple of days of winter. Lots of things have been happening in the world of Girls snowboarding over the last couple of weeks. After the Burton NZ Open there has been the World Winter Games and this weekend in NZ is the Billabong Big Air.

Michaela Davis-Meehan has been in NZ with the Billabong team and having a great time. This week the team have been riding as much as possible to get heaps new shots. She’s also been training lots and is hoping to get a really good result this weekend.

Hey Girls,
So here’s this weeks little update. I was at Thredbo for the last week enjoying myself at UNI games. Lots of snowboarding a drinking for the week. Was a great competition and great to see the amount of girl riders out there. I got some poor results like always (thinking the beer did it for me) but still had a ball.

Holla. New chick in the hood. I was led here by Enn Zed and Lisapisa. I’m a NoHe chick, live in SLC, Utah, have been riding about 17 years, try to make my way all around the mountain from the tree stashes to the box scratches, and am committed to furthering women in snowboarding. I host an annual event in the NoHe (it’s growing…might make its way down under in the next few years!) for women called Boobcon, and we have a rockin’ good time, with rippin’ riders that don’t take themselves too seriously. This is key when you’re making a “dance moves” video.

ooh, i’m blushing! glad to hear you’ve heard about boobcon, too. we’re pretty proud of it. this year’s included dee-luxe condo with hot tub, on-site massage therapists, and private yoga, too! while we’re still coming down from this year’s trip, i know the idea of a Boobcon NZ Edition is on the table at some point (but i couldn’t say when for sure…after all, we build these trips based on the interest and budgets of our participants). here are the videos we shot this year when loosed in Utah at Boobcon Version 3.0: Top Gunz!
