Snowboard Day Bags
Hey guys, seen the post about travel bags, but now i got my board im after just a normal compact board, more so for everyday protection and protection during transport within aus.
any ideas, suggestions?
Should be able to pick up either a Burton or 3CS entry level day bag for good $$$!!!!!
And that way, ya will be supportin the brands that also support Boardworld!!!!! 
for travel to the local slopes i wouldnt really bother. i either just make sure i put my gear around/under it when travelling. or throw my board on the roof racks.

You may not damage your board, but if you properly maintain your edges, there’s a good chance you’ll end up eventually slashing an item of clothing or damaging the interior of your car. It’s just as much about protecting everything else from your board as it is about making sure your board is safe.
Neoprene board sleeves are the best there is for short car trips. I also use one if ever I’ve got to load a board into the cargo hold of a bus enroute to a resort.

if i didnt have a roof rack i will make sure they everyone they goes into my car has a sleeve for their board to protect interior of my car
they are relatively inexpensive in comparison to price of your board/sanity/etc

Yeah, the Burton Gig Bag’s great - it provides the kind of strength and padding I consider to be essential if your gear will ever be in the dubious hands of airline baggage handlers.
i have seen ppl using excess bodyboard sleeves(you know the kind that is made of cotton or some material and has teh drawstring in it) if you have one laying around or want a really cheap option
