That reminds me of this one time when I was a kid and took a snake id caught in a rice field, into school (in Japan) and the teacher went mental…...I assured her it was harmless and wasn’t poisonous but they made me let it go after it lunged and bit another kid on the ear. I told her ‘oh well, lucky it wasn’t poisonous!” HAHA. Pretty dumb for an eight year old Aussie kid to pick up snakes. should have known better! but I had researched enough to know there weren’t any venomous snakes where I was…..That teacher still probably thinks aussies are nuts
