I’m going to guess that you photoshopped the background

Gamblor, I’m not sure what it is about this photos background that is questionable? To answer the query though, no, the background has not been photoshopped.

Don’t worry about Gamblor, grahamgee!!!!! He is a “pixel counter” when it comes to photography!!!!! But he knows his shit!!!!! (maybe not this time though????)

I actually like the look of the background, and think that it almost gives it a 3 dimensional appearance!!!!!  shaka

I am so jealous of these photos - may have to bring the SLR (yep i spelt that correctly I am old school like that… must be cause I am a skier!) to the Shred.

Thanks for the stoke guys!
I’m not questioning Gamblor’s knowledge, so don’t take it that way. I’m happy to take constructive criticism, as he’s already critiqued my work and I’m more than happy to learn from that, it’s great and what I want/need. I was genuinely curious as to why it may looked shopped to a trained eye.

Don’t suck up to him, gee!!!!!

Only kiddin, I just gotta get my moneys worth while I’m on here!!!!!

I paid top dollar for a 10 year subscription, and 2 days later I found out it was free!!!!! WTF???

Haha ahhhh not my battle!

I guess I’ve got room for another entry for the day, so why not? smile

well, sorry about that! I just thought the lines around the filmer, the separation between the knuckle and the background, and the rider looked really jagged-y. What lens are you using? Are you shooting then editing jpgs?

I did bump the definition a little to get a little bit more depth in the snow tracks which is probably what has given that line on the knuckles horizon.

I’m shooting RAW and exporting to fairly low quality JPEG, but I can see what you’re looking at.

Photo was shot through a 70-200mm IS II F2.8L

i can see where your coming from gamblor, the filmer makes it look like the background is photoshopped in.
