Now, if I had to bet my life on it, I’d say we will get a couple of decent troughs and some vigorous instability with the cold air aloft. And if that happens, then my call is that we’re in for between 20 and 40 centimetres of snow from Wednesday, September 7 to Sunday, September 11. But I can’t tell you exactly what day it will fall - at the moment it looks more likely from Friday onwards, with some clear spots on Wednesday and Thursday.
Be prepared for a roller-coaster as the model snow totals adjust a bit with each issue.
. . . Frog is saying that a system 12 -15 Sept (just in time for the shred!!) has the potential to be even bigger! Woot Woot!
