Another major accident at bredo looks about the same spot as the last one. I am stuck in a huge queue on the last rise that drops into Bredbo on jindy side.
A person is trapped. But no fatality so far - fingers crossed it stays that way!
They say it will be another an hour or so until road opens.

Just got to canberra airport! Long night already.
But randomly I just found myself following one of the buses I stamped with our trademark! Tried to take a photo but it is blurry.
Lol nice oz we have been sitting by candle light playing UNO tonight. What a weird end to my birthday!!! Some dumbarse kids though it funny to set an electricity box on fire so we have been without power since 10ish. Luckily we have gas hot water and cooking. Too bad the heating is gas with an electric fan, fail! We have NO heaters!!!
Just got the news that 1200 jobs are gone in my company!!!!
Fortunately my position is safe for the moment, but can’t help but feel bad for the people that weren’t so lucky!!!!
I heard about that on the news this morning Mizzz. Sounds like the high Aussie dollar is really putting pressure on exports.

I have 3 days of work this week before I’m Sydney bound. Few days up there then it’s off to Perisher! Hope there’s still some snow there when I arrive.

Yea, they canned all export product!!!! About 1/3 of our business!!!!! They lost about 500 million just from keepin that market last year!!!! It had to be done otherwise none of us will be around!!!!

ozgirl, that’s horrible. I hope there were no fatalities or serious injuries. It’s crazy how dangerously some people drive to the snow.

Yeah looks like Seawind is gonna cut some more jobs soon, high aussie dollar is killing them as well. Freddy may well be out of a job within weeks/months. If he does lose it…maybe we’ll take off and do a season somewhere? Frig I would love that!
