REVIEW: YES Tasman(iac)

Avatar

so am I understanding correctly that this is a true twin with asymmetrical sidecut that could be ridden by goofy or regular riders, ie there is no goofy specific and regular specific boards?  Interesting idea.  I have my old Burton Asym Air from 1993 in my garage - maybe I should send that up for Rider to review!  3 strap bindings for the win!

Yeah the board is a true twin with asymmetrical sidecut. So there is no defined nose and tail, just heelside edge and toeside edge. You will notice on the image below how it says, “I’M REGULAR” and “I’M GOOFY.” Whether you are regular or goofy, the heelside and toeside edges are the same, just the board rides in a different direction. It also says on the sidewall whether it’s the heelside or toeside edge.

pretty sweet.  I’d be interested to hear more about its carving abilities.

is it made in switzerland or tunisia? Last year the Jones boards were made in Tunisia and both YES and Jones are made by Nidecker
