Thanks guys, yeah i’ve already lined up a job at whistler in it, to bad it’s only $18 an hour >_<. guess it’s better than nothing. I can’t believe the photos you took rider. It looks amazing, now i have to go no excuses. My dreams to get sponsored and hopefully thats the place to do it. do you think you’ll be going for the 12-13 season?

I know i’m clogging up the comp page but i freaking love the snowboarding scene, everyones always friendly.

Wish i tried with my photos lol. didn’t know there where comps for this stuff.

Can’t wait till next years season. Thats when everything will be AWESOME! sick of living in brisbane lol.

$18 an hour is actually a decent wage in Whistler. Most jobs pay a lot less than that.

I’m heading back in November for the season. Not too sure about 12/13 yet. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any questions.

Holy cr*p! I didn’t even make half that when I did a season snowmaking at LL. You’ll be living like a king!

PS - I’ll get back on topic now… more photos everyone!

Did you actually get an IT job, or something else? Always wondered if there are actually IT jobs that you can do for a season at OS resorts, esp Japan

Yeah it’s just working at the local IT joint in whistler. My cousin worked there for like 18 months so he put in a good word. Thanks for the info. More Photo’s smile, i can up load more nooby ones if you like.

If you had of dropped to your belly and shot off the grond it may have given you better framing and steadied the camera. With limited time did you use the settings your camera was last on or put it on auto?

Congrats to steve and bish for last weeks photos!

A couple shots from earlier in the season:

Ben Lomond
Plateau

Ben Lomond
Summit Hut

Our mountain is currently shut as things got a little warm down here!

Starting our terrain park build this weekend so hopefully things improve a bit!

I think I managed to get on my knees but that was as far as I got. The main problem was the sun shining on the screen so I couldn’t really see where I was aiming. It was on manual I think, but only really so it would take the wide angle res.

It’s still a really awesome photo?

Nice shot of the summit hut Max - I like the composition and the colours in the shot. That hut looks ancient! Did you add the vignette yourself? Maybe just a tiny bit too much for my taste.
Bummer to be shut at the start of August, we need snow badddddddd!!!
