Just picked Mini Shred up from school, first thing she does is head to the Chook house and check for eggs.

On the way past the office she stops outside the window,

“Hey Dad, the Goldfish is dead!!!”

So I say,

“Are you sure? Maybe its just having a sleep?”

and she comes back with,

“Dad, it has not got a head anymore!!!!”

I was a little speechless for a bit.

All good now, we fed the dead, headless Goldfish to the chooks

I can see Mizu the duck gettin the blame for this!!!!!

Not sure, either yourself or spaz (in Goose form) pecked its head off or one the dogs did it.

It has lived in the dog’s drinking trough for the last 3.5 years no problems.

Either that or its head just fell off

Would have been an animal for sure. If the dog has left it for that long I cant see it attacking it now. Must be one of the birds!

It was of a fair size to.

Off to the pet shop, it was time to do a restock of all the water troughs around Chill Hill, mozzies are about after the wet and now this stupid mid winter warm spell.

Speaking of poultry, the Geese are getting Jiggy with it at the moment.

I am trying to get some video footage for you guys to watch, its so bloody funny.
Problem is the little buggers don’t go very long at it.
