Drift do such a great product, we’re really looking forward to the release of this little number. Such clear shooting through their quality lens.
At 119g it’s dam light. Do you know if they have a glass lens doc?
Drift also have an extendable pole in their product accessories line.
excellent… starting to look at a camera to take with me to Tahoe. this throws another spanner in the works in regards to me trying to decide!
looks awesome
Wonder how the price will compare to the gopro?
I want one
Might be just the thing ya need Dan!!!!!
Pretty sure it doesn’t have a zoom!!!!!

The actual lens is glass as well as the outer lens, the same as it is with the current Stealth Model.
4X digital zoom actually!
So far all Drift products are cheaper than GoPro and I guess this will be also. They also come better accessorised.

Is It waterproof? The cross over use of surfing and snowboarding is pretty high up on my list of capabilities of pov cams.

Hey Banger, I’ll take this one as I’m in the surf all the time. It’s well waterproofed enough for snow use and heavy rain /splashes (moto etc) but i wouldn’t take it out in the surf. The water pressures are a whole other level there. There still hasn’t been a better set-up for surf than the GoPro (with the exception of the H2O perspex housing for the Contours, but at a significantly increased cost and size)
GoPro still has the market nailed in the surf area - would be great to see a camera competitive to it in this arena, but still waiting…
just got the steath hd and the mini has all the improvements i want, esp the replaceable glass lens…as it is the stealth is doing the job and am stoked with the results..

Totally agree SC!!!!
This was the one defining factor that swayed me into the GoPro!!!!! Whilst the look of it takes a long time to grow on ya, the fact that it can be virtually taken anywhere, from the ocean, lake, sky, mud and mountain and doin it all in the same state with no need to change the standard housing just makes it so damn versatile!!!!!

yeah i was the same and went with the VIO over the Gopro for the fact that the gopro looked so bad and even the name sounded pretty amatuer….but the fact that i dont have my VIO back yet after water use failure and the gopro takes a total drowning with no ill effect speaks for itself.
I thought exactly the same thing with the name also!!!!!
