Park gloves for general riding???
I wsa thinking of getting some dakine crossfire gloves which are considered park gloves and not really all that warm, but was thinking they’d probably still be fine for riding Australian conditions…
Does anyone else ride all mountain with park gloves in Aus?? Do you reckon they’d be fine?

Yeah I ride with grenade misfits. They end up 100% drenched but my hands get so hot I don’t even know if they are wet from snow or sweat! LOL ew!
Depends on the glove. I find most spring/park gloves get wet super quick. Do your hands usually run warm? The only time I can handle park gloves is in the spring. Otherwise my hands freeze. Gore-tex for me. 
Well last time I rode my gloves ended up pretty wet but they fell apart cause they were el-cheapo’s. I wouldn’t say I got cold hands, but I don’t know that I was necessarily running hot either.
It’s good to hear that the park gloves get wet real quick. I think thats the kind of info I was wondering about. I think I might be better off with some goretex ones likes you use Rider.

Are there Gore-Tex who are as thin as those park gloves?? Cause I was thinking about buying park gloves cause I hate the big ones I have now. But now reading that they get wet really quick I’m not sure anymore, cause I hate wet hands when boarding!
i have a pair of dakine park gloves i got in NZ,
yes they get wet fairly quickly but my hands never get cold. but i only use them sparingly as i have leather POW gloves now.
Gore-tex gloves don’t need to be bulky. I only wear low profile gloves. There are some really good, low profile, Gore-tex gloves on the market. I’ve had a couple of pairs of Burton AK Clutch gloves and they are awesome! They are a bit pricey though. Some cheaper options include: Burton Gore Underglove (a bit bulkier but still fairly low profile, also comes with a removable inner glove), Burton Empire glove, or the Dakine Bronco gloves. All Gore-tex, all low profile. Highly recommended.

Once again, just like ya socks, gloves with moisture wicking properties will keep ya hands comfortable in the cold!!!!
Got some grenade spring gloves that I won off this really cool website that I can’t quite remember the name of atm ; ) , but I will only wear them in spring on a warm day!!!!
For mid winter I have Bronco GT’s, and a new pair of Burton ??? That I just got, that have their version of Gortex called dryride!!!! I’ve worn em in fairly good weather so I’m yet to test their worth against tha DaKine’s!!!!
Back to the OP, I’ve used the crossfire gloves in warm days and cold days in Australia (0 degrees or just below) and they work fine. Hands won’t get cold but will be a little wet. I didn’t get much a chance to see what they would be like long term since i lost a glove somewhere lol.
Something a bit better quality would be the Dakine Impreza. same thickness but with goretex.
I have a pair of Grenade park gloves. Think they are missfits. Either way they have a silicon palm on them, and a neopren like back on them. I wear them all the time for general riding. I dont find they get too wet at all, unless its raining, wet heavy fresh snow, or its super cold and windy (all of these situations Ill wear other golves). But I’d say I wear the park golves about 70% of the time. I dont find I ever am putting my hands in the snow much so not really an issue.
dr86 the Dakine Imprezas are what my partner and I are looking at getting. Nice slim fit, but goretex!!! WINNING!!!
I almost always ride in park gloves. Got the Radical pipe gloves at the moment.
Yeh I really want to get a pair of the Rad Sparky gloves. Look mad as!
We have quite a few of those in the prize pool.
