Bondi Fish/Park comp August 20 2011

hey all,

Bondi Skateriders Club next comp is scheduled for Saturday August 20.

This time it’s ONLY going to be held in the Fish Bowl - ie - the “street” course..!
Grom’s & Juniors will be run-based jams, with a bunch of prizes from Fallen, Zero, Destructo, Arnette & STM shop.
The open’s will be cash-for-tricks! We have $3000 provided by Arnette Eyewear (plus some sunnies), which will be divvied at $50 per trick, with maybe some extra gnarly bangers earning $100 for a make!! Then there’ll also be an overall King (of the) Fish trophy & award for $500 (or possibly more, depending on the amount of crew showing up). This will work out to potentially 50 individual tricks, plus the $500 King Fish!!

Plus, we have Canberra’s own MC extraordinaire Mike D on the mic providing laughs and the occasional wrong-trick-call(!) for everyones aural pleasure!

Bring on the gnar. That should be some all time good time going on.

So what does the fish have to do with skateboarding?, i dont get it. Also who is that fish head guy?

I’ll be coming to watch this one for sure!
