we had a problem with tpg, they werent budging at all.
missus put an email through to the TIO and what do you know, 1 day later we get a call from TPG saying blah blah blah we are sorry, the problem is fixed and we will be giving you 3 months free internet/phone*
Highly recommend you go to the TIO
*have been downloading anything and everything i can just to take advantage of the free internet, havent even watched most of the stuff haha

Box Head must have hacked my account.
after an hour on the phone to 3, and being hung up on, told im not who i am, and telling me stuff I already know, spoke to a supervising manager and they are unsuspending my phone. but apperenltly my usage is up to $1300 now, even though I havent used it. They are looking into why it is happening. and they are also saying now my 1gb inclusive data is only 50mb, and the manager is looking into why it changed this month after 23months of bills showing otherwise. He is calling me back thursday next week with hopefully a solution.
Im still going to contact the ombudsman, as the situation and how I was treated is totally un acceptable

Its because if TIO contact them about it and the companies shit themselves, cos if it doesnt get sorted, TIO fines them $10,000 to look into the problem.
I mentioned TIO to the guy and he put me straight through to his manager. Still calling them to get this sorted properly!

three did the same thing to me yesterday, sent a text to my phone saying that the account was overdue, however i havent received the bill, it makes it hard to pay a bill when they havent sent you one ill be calling them this arvo and doing the same thing. Im sick of these telco’s and there bullying ways

I barred Telstra about 7 years ago, and Optus is in the firing line in 5 mths time as well!!!!! (Mobile plan runs out and that is the end for them)
And every time that either of these telcos rings me askin me to come back, I get immense satisfaction in lettin them know that I was once a customer of theirs, and never will be again!!!!!
If more people did this, then they would start to listen!!!!!

mate, ignorance isnt an excuse, you should have followed up with them to send you a bill. seen it happen before.
i hardly call them asking for money you rightfully owe them bullying tho?

Yeh when I finish work today I will def be sending into TIO. They sorted my boss out within 1 day when she had probs with her power company
